MEETINGS

The University of Texas at Brownsville Collegiate Kiteboarding Club meetings are held twice a month. We meet at Wanna Wanna beach bar, which is located on the beach on South Padre Island. The meetings are held here because of the wind conditions. Instead of holding the meetings on campus of the university, we are having them on the beach where we can utilize the conditions that are so excellent on South Padre Island.

Come to the next meeting to learn more about this college kiteboarding club here on South Padre Island. We have DVDs to watch, kites to fly and important club information to discuss. These meetings are meant to be low stress situations where everyone can get together an hang out on the beach. Please join us at Wanna Wanna beach bar for some good times. You don't have to be in college to come to the meetings to share your knowledge on the sport of kite surfing, but you do have to be a University of Texas Brownsville student to come on the trips and reap the benefits of utilizing the club gear, as well as access to the local kite shop deals and promotions.
